Street Style

Hisayuki Amae

A little bit of research, typical recourse after a brief chat with a street style subject, led me to the great many design contests that Amae has partaken in, usually amongst a multidisciplinary design cohort. Chief among the contests I found Amae's work in was an Hermès tie design contest, "Crystal Vision", an international design contest in collaboration with SWAROVSKI and designboom, and the World Space Creators Awards (2010), in which Amae and team won an award for the shop design category in the Joy-T Competition. The winning design concept is a mobile shop, labeled The ARTROOMTEEE shop design. According to the team, the concept boasts "movable, sustainable, transformable, enjoyable, and stockable" qualities.
