Street Style

Anna Kipke

Remembering how to bundle up for fall weather isn't rocket science, but it's not quite like hopping on a bicycle, either. From time to time we all stand in the mirror, secretly wishing for invisible training wheels. Enter Anna; comfortable and confident, strolling down Queen St. with hands in pockets, sweeping her brown vintage Clarks from side to side. I envied how comfortable she looked.

It surprised me to hear she was back-packing. However, after a few minutes, she revealed her not so secret, secret. Three months in to her travels, she's sent home two rubbish bags of vintage wares, leaving room enough for a few travel-friendly garments. Well done.

Anna told me she commandeered the unlabeled jacket from a friend in Germany, the Clarks from a vintage shop in Berlin and pants from Forever 21 in Toronto. Dank und auf Wiedersehen, Anna!
