TORONTO - Toronto International Film Festival. The Toronto International Film Festival screens more than 300 films from 60+ countries every September. Various locations (September 6-16). 

TORONTO/NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES/PARIS/MADRID/MILAN/etc… - Fashion's Night Out. Join editors, stars, models, fashionistas and designers on September 6 as they flood stores in cities around the world for fashion's most iconic extravaganza. Various locations (September 6). 

DELHI - Fashion's Night Out. Various locations (September 7).

MONTREAL - Montreal Fashion Week 2012. The fashion industry descends on Montreal for the 23rd Montreal Fashion Week. A few fortunate fashionistas will be able to get themselves one of the limited number of seats set aside for the general public to witness the latest trends first hand. Various locations (September 4-7). 

Far Out Isn't Far Enough: The Tomi Ungerer Story

PARIS - Ethical Fashion Show. Since 2004, the Ethical Fashion Show has been bringing together international ready-to-wear labels (for women, men and children) and designers who produce creative and stylish fashion, guided by a respect for man and the environment. Carrousel du Louvre (September 6-9). 

MADRID - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. In its 56th edition, around 41 designers will present their Spring-Summer 2013 collections on the catwalk, as well as 20 up-and-coming designers who will exhibit their ideas at the EGO Showroom. Feria de Madrid (August 30 - Sept 4). 

AUCKLAND - New Zealand Fashion Week 2012. Founded in 2001 to aid the burgeoning local fashion industry, New Zealand Fashion Week continues to act as a platform for New Zealand designers to promote their collections to the world and assist in the growth of their brand. Viaduct Events Centre (September 3-7). 


Far Out Isn't Far Enough follows the multiple careers of the artist Tomi Ungerer, who had stints as a bestselling children's book author, an illustrator of 1960s protest posters, and a creator of explicit erotica until he found himself shunned from the American publishing industry. (September 6, TIFF Bell Lightbox 3, Toronto)
